Bunaken ..... underwater heaven

Ever since a long time ago, Bunaken is a very wellknown place for divers. On last June, early in the morning we departed from Jakarta and during lunch time we arrived safely at Manado. Got lunch with Manado seafood (yes it was really delicious), then at 2 pm we are ready to departed to our first dive. Unlike many other diving places in Indonesia, Bunaken is really easy to reach. We don't have to change into small aircraft to reach it. First dive was around the city, just at the back of many seafood restaurants. It was still around Manado bay. There are a lot of unique underwater creature, a lot of beautiful nudibranches. Unbelievable, it was very near to the city and we can found a lot of underwater macro subjects

. Day 2, we spent the whole day around Bunaken Island and Manado Tua. Bunaken, Manado Tua and Siladen are not so far from our hotel on the beach of Manado Bay. It was around 20-30 mins by boat. It was very nice diving in Manado, very relaxing. Most dive sites are wall, current is not strong during our dives, so we really enjoy our dives. When we were on boat in the morning, we saw dolphins show ...... there were a lot of dolphins racing with our boat as if escorting us to Bunaken Island. It was really fun looking at them.
